Fundraising.
Fundraising plays an integral role in supporting our school and its programs. All funds raised through your SSPC go directly towards upgrading facilities, equipment, funding student led programs, events and guest speakers.
Currently we are raising funds for our Play Space Renewal Project. The estimated cost for this project is $358,000. Click here to view the Horizon Line Design and the project phase breakdown.
We have currently raised $117,000+ through fundraising campaigns and have received a $50,000+ donation from Westwood Community Child Centre. We were awarded a grant from our Provincial Government for $100,000. We were the recipients two $5,000 grants from the SJASD and just received a $15,000 grant through The Winnipeg Foundation. Phases 1 + 2 have been completed. We are now fundraising for Phase 3.
Donation Announcement
We are now able to issue tax receipts through the SJASD for any donations made to our project. Just click the Donate Now! button and select Sansome School in the drop down menu; its that easy! All donations made to Sansome School through this link go towards the Play Space Renewal Project.

Our fundraisers for this year will consist of Pizza Fridays, Milk program, Dance-a-thons, Cash Raffles, Santa beards, Trivia Night, as well as a few smaller fundraisers.

Every Friday, beginning September 13, 2024, Little Caesars pizza will be available for purchase by the slice. Topping options are pepperoni and cheese or plain cheese. Slices cost $2.50 each; cash only.
Tables are set up in a central location on each floor to limit wait times for students. Parent volunteers are needed to help run this program. If you would like to volunteer for a one or a few Fridays click here.

This fun filled evening will also include a 50 / 50 draw and players choice raffles with amazing prizes. All proceeds from this event support the Sansome School Play Space Renewal Project, helping us reach Phase 3 - the final phase - planned for Summer 2026. This includes replacing our beloved wooden structure with a brand-new play structure, and upgrading the pea gravel to accessible fibar so every child can play safely and confidently.
